Outreach

A true community cannot be achieved without outreach between its members.  We all juggle so many obligations in our daily lives; jobs, social lives, to-do lists, families, volunteer organizations, and the list goes on and on. But a little goes a long way when it comes to sharing good news and reaching out to others. If all members of our community took one action to help spread our message, we’d reach our goals and then some. If you are a person who spends time on social media then “liking” and “sharing” is a quick and easy way to lend your support.  If you just got a raise or you have a few extra dollars at the end of your week, even the smallest donations do not go unnoticed.  And if you have a passion for the area you live in and have been looking to put your time towards something that is going to make a difference, volunteering with Hallpass is a great way to do it.

As time goes on, we will be doing our own outreach programs; one form will be through fundraising events. If you have a weekend or even a 3 hour block of time to volunteer at one of these events, you are always welcome. Bring family and friends. Tell a neighbor. Know someone in Kiwanis, K of C, Lions Club, or even Goodfellows?  Pass along our message.  Word of mouth is one of the best forms of outreach you could contribute.

“We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other. If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.” — Jeff Warner
